Since 2020, Chess Rising Stars has taught hundreds of children in our online chess clubs. Our global community of chess learners has grown to over 500 members on lichess.
We offer small-group online chess lessons to children aged 5-16, from beginners to elite-level players. Thanks to the positive feedback from students and parents, we have grown to offer 6 groups across 4 days.
Chess Rising Stars weekly clubs have a mixture of chess lessons, friendly games and an internal tournament with plenty of prizes for the winners! You can find the digital entry form at the bottom of this page.

Wednesday Chess Club – Beginner/Intermediate

Information
This club is ideally suited as an introduction to small-group chess lessons for less experienced children. We would recommend that children are already familiar with how the pieces move, check, and checkmate, but no further knowledge is required.

Information
We will split the Friday Chess Club into two groups, one for ages 6-10 and a new group exclusively for secondary school chess players aged 11-16. Chess is gaining popularity in this age range, with students even using it for their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award activity.

A little information about us
- Lessons will have a mixture of tuition, friendly games, and an internal tournament
- Prizes will be awarded at the end of the term for the tournament winners, as well as those who have shown particular improvement and enthusiasm
