Chess Rising Stars has taught hundreds of children and adults in our online chess courses since 2020. We have coupled this with an active online chess tournament calendar to support their progress. Our global community of chess learners has grown to over 400 members on lichess.
Chess Rising Stars Christmas Tournament

Open to: All Chess Rising Stars students, coaches and friends.
Includes: 9th Girls’ Online Chess Tournament
Early Bird Fee: £5 for Chess Rising Stars students and friends. Free entry for girls
Entry Fee (dated after 2nd December): £10 for Chess Rising Stars students and friends
Tournament Structure
6 rounds with 10 minutes per player plus 5 seconds increment per move.

Trophies will be awarded to the top girls as part of their 9th Girls’ Online Chess Tournament.
The Christmas Tournament 2023 will be our first online tournament with cash prizes for the winners. To ensure the integrity of the tournament is maintained, we will use the lichess cheat detection system alongside the observation and judgement of our experienced coaching team.
