The age limits are based on the LJCC Finals rules. Age is child’s age at 31/08/2026. The organiser reserves the right to merge if there is an insufficient number of entries in a section.
Capacity: There are a limited number of spaces available for this tournament.
LJCC Finals: Under 8 – 4 points or more out of 6 qualifies for the final.
Under 10 Major – 4.5 points or more out of 6 qualifies for the final.
Under 10 Minor – 3.5 points or 4 points out of 6 qualifies for the final.
Under 12 Major – 4.5 points or more out of 6 qualifies for the final.
Under 12 Minor – 3.5 points or 4 points out of 6 qualifies for the final.
Entry Fee:
£40 ECF Gold members
+ £5 extra for non-ECF Gold members

Prizes: Trophies, medals and small prizes for everyone else
Additional Information:
This will be the 3rd OTB tournament organised by Chess Rising Stars.
No refreshments provided. However, Wimbledon Quarter shopping centre is right next to the venue.
Parents/guardians/carers are responsible for their children throughout the entire duration of this event. Supervision of children may be shared between adults. However, parents/guardians should note that they are still ultimately responsible for their children and their behaviour at this event. We are providing a larger space for parents compared to our February tournament.
