Dear Parents, Kids & All Our Chess Friends!

This new group of our Chelsea Chess Club, exclusively for 5 to 7-year-olds, was created in January 2024.

Chess Rising Stars London Academy has designed the ideal environment to help introduce the game to younger children. Lessons are shorter than at our original Chelsea Chess Club and will be in a smaller teaching group.

Your child will discover the joys of learning chess in an interactive and enjoyable setting. We will work together on chess strategy and tactics, as well as associated skills such as sportsmanship, planning, and focus.

No knowledge of chess is required, although we suggest that anyone without a chess background join the club by week 3 of the term.

Registration is now open for the Summer Term.

ECF Development Pathway

In 2023, we were recognised at Level 2 in the English Chess Federation’s Junior Development Pathway initiative. We are one of only eleven junior chess clubs nationwide that have achieved this status.

Information

Our new junior chess club has limited availability, and we will allocate spaces on a first come, first served basis via our online form below. Booking is open now, and your child can be among the first to join us. Once this club reaches capacity, we will open a waiting list to add a second group.

Safeguarding

We comply with the Department for Education’s September 2023 publication ‘After-school clubs, community activities, and tuition: Safeguarding guidance for providers’. Please read our Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct and Terms and Conditions.
